Oggi vi sveliamo i segreti per sfruttare al meglio questa pianta aromatica, che tutti noi abbiamo nelle nostre case.

Parliamo di una pianta arbustiva sempreverde che raggiunge l’altezza di 50-300 cm, con radici profonde, fibrose e resistenti: ha fusti legnosi di colore marrone chiaro, le foglie persistenti o coriacee, sono lunghe 2-3 cm e larghe 1-3 mm. Il rosmarino; che viene molto spesso confuso con la maggiorana, ma in realtà le sue foglie sono molto più pelose il sapore molto più intenso.Il torcicollo è un disturbo dovuto a una contrattura dei muscoli del collo, e in particolare del muscolo sternocleidomastoideo e del trapezio. La contrazione anomala fa si che la testa rimanga “bloccata” e che si avverte un intenso dolore al collo quando si cerca di muoverlo. Oggi vogliamo condividere con voi questa fantastica ricetta miracolosa, che ci aiuterà ad alleviare il dolore del torcicollo che spesso ci limita i nostri movimenti e le nostre giornate.

Quante volte abbiamo usato il rosmarino in cucina, per insaporire i nostri piatti? Un classico sono le patate al forno con il rosmarino, oppure l’abbacchio alla scottadito insaporito con il rosmarino, insomma è molto versatile ed molto utile per insaporire le nostre pietanze. Ma questa erba aromatica mediterranea ha proprietà analgesiche formidabili oltre che rilassanti, efficaci per alleviare la tensione muscolare e lenire il dolore acuto, un ottimo alleato contro i dolori del collo. Spesso, quando si soffre di dolori articolari si fa ricorso ai vari farmaci da banco e agli antidolorifici. Ma avvolte ci sono rimedi naturali spesso anche molto più efficaci. Basta andare nelle nostre dispense prendere del rosmarino, un pò di acqua calda e il gioco e fatto.

Per essiccare il rosmarino possiamo: lasciarlo al sole per un giorno intero, oppure i metodi più veloci sono il forno, essiccatore o forno a microonde. Altrimenti il metodo più tradizionale è quello di legare il ramo a testa in giù in un luogo fresco e ombreggiato. Una volta pronto bisognerà eliminare lo stelo, i fiori e conservare il tutto in un vasetto con chiusura ermetica. Prepariamo ora un impacco lenitivo per il nostro torcicollo: aggiungete le foglie essiccate in acqua bollente e lasciamo in infusione per circa 10 minuti, trascorso il tempo filtriamo, bagniamo un panno con l’infuso ottenuto e applicate sulla zona del collo che vi fa più male, ci aiuterà ad alleviare il dolore.
